Silky smooth sound enhanced even more by recent (Dec ''11) Magnum upgrade ($500) which included new tube type and several component changes that added depth and clarity. This is a sweet sounding pre-amp, powered with seperate (included) power supply, with superb, adjustable phono gain circuits and inputs for CD, Tape, etc. and record out with one main pre-amp out. The HT bypass circuit has been removed since it has never been or intended to be used in HT environment. American built, this pre-amp is in very good condition, with the exception of a couple missing letters on front panel (see closeup,-- no idea where they went!)
