Rogue Audio Perseus one owner, near mint

Up for sale is my Rogue Audio Perseus tube preamplifier. I am the original owner, purchasing the unit one year ago from an authorized dealer here in Atlanta. The preamp has been in my dedicated audio room, smoke free and child free. I do have two dogs, but they have never been allowed to play the stereo! I can find absolutely no marks, scratches, dings, etc on the unit, and the 9/10 rating is accurate. Unit looks and plays like brand new. I'm only selling due to the fact I just upgraded to a Rogue Audio Athena.

The Perseus is not the Magnum version. It does have an excellent phono stage built in. It is a 12AU7 four tube preamp, though the included stock tubes are JJ 5814 tubes, less than 50 hours on those. These tubes have a very nice, smooth sound, with a pleasing midrange along with nice extension at both ends. The Persesus responds very well to tube rolling. I've ran GE 5814's, RCA Clear Tops, NOS Amperex Hollands and NOS Cifte's. In my system, I like the Amperex and RCA's best.

Included in the sale is the Perseus, the original box and manual, and the original remote. Though there is no effect on performance, the original remote batteries leaked, so there is a very slight amount of corrosion on the inside of the back cover of the remote. Not visible and no effect on performance. Just thought I should disclose.
