I am not the original owner of this player and do not know its history. I've had it for several months and have used it as a temporary CD player until I recently purchased a Rega Apollo. The Rotel served me very well. Outputs include optical and coax digital outs, analog outs for front, rear, center, and subwoofer, composite, S video, and component. NTSC and PAL switchable.
The unit is in excellent condition and CD playback is excellent. Remote and DVD playback worked when I purchased, but I have used neither. I have the original box, but not the owner's manual. However, the manual is readily available online at http://www.rotel.com/content/manuals_archived/rdv1080.pdf
