Rotel RSP 1068 Preamp/Processor

For sale is a used Rotel RSP-1068 preamp/processor. It was serving in my separates theater set up, but started acting up. In short - volume became erratic, for both volume knob and remote. You can turn it up - it'll go down, vice versa, and could jump unpredictably - which was dangerous, so I grounded it. Don't know if it's an easy fix, capacitor, dust??? I've seen few people post similar things on this model, in some was dust, in others was some small piece on the board. I am not that savvy to repair and do not feel it's worth really trying to fix it some place as it would require me sending it from where I live. I am getting an A/V receiver for a family setup and will keep my two channel separates for my music listening. So if you know how to fix it, it may end up being a bargain, or could be a decent set of spare Rotel parts. Your call. Comes with original box, manual, remote. As is, no return. Do not put it in your system before you fix the issue due to erratic volume behavior. Cosmetically it looks good, few scratches, but nothing serious. Rated 2/10 due to the volume issues.
