This arm lives up to the hype, and then some. Attack, transient response, a sense of pace....it's all there. The music it makes is lively, yet this is not code for bright, as bass is deep and accurate, while midrange vocals are accurate and lifelike. The rating is conservative, yet there are a few scratches that could be filled in with a sharpie.

Most likely you're familiar with this arm of unconventional design, yet regardless of the engineering, it sounds great to my ears. This one has a few upgrades worth mentioning. Wiring was recently upgraded to a continuous run of silver from cartridge clips to rca's, which were also upgraded. A ground lug was also installed in the base in case you have hum issues (I never did). An additional counterweight is included for carts weighing more than around 13g.

Best of all, the issue of aligning your cartridge on the headshell has been eliminated. The standard headshell plate has three sets of threaded holes, limiting your placement options, and requiring use of carts with non-threaded taps. This arm, however, has a custom plate with two slots cut out for installation anywhere you wish along the continuum. This can be seen in the photos.

Set up of this arm is actually absurdly simple, while using it simply takes a bit of patience and practice. But if you want to hear your music come alive, it will deliver. I recently acquired an EMT table with an integral tonearm, thus the sale. I have the original box, and will pack it safely. I am missing the original weight set used to set the VTF, but I never used them as I use a digital scale instead. I am also happy to assist the buyer with set-up and use if requested. I pay for FedEx shipping and no fees to the buyer, the ask price is the total.

I am also selling a Dynavector Karat mkII that was just retipped by Soundsmith with a nude contact line diamond and ruby cantilever. It is a great match for the arm. I am asking $425, but will sell it with the arm for $350. Please feel free to ask any questions, and thank you sincerely for your consideration.
