Unit as of now is still up fro grabs it is mint condition and there are a lot of interest but my last buyer has not got back to me so it is available until I have payment or someone buys it vis the "buy" button. :-)

| it only has 20amp outlets? can I hook up 2 amps to it? thanks This particular unit was made for amps it has two 20 amp outlets ( four plugs and these also take standard 15 amp as well) it takes a 20 amp power cable to plug into it but output can be either.
So yes two amps are fine and the most common use for this unit. |
| One more silly question, if I installed 20amp dedicated lines, do I still need 20amp wall outlets or 15amp wall outlet would give the same result?
I also have dmitri and not sure the difference from maxim, wondering if you know? both are noncurrent limitting I supposed? This one is supposed too be extra hugh current for amps I was told but that is the end of my knowledge base.
Yes you can wire 15 amp receptacle into a 20 amp line but you should know your local electrical code. Normally you can't go past but you can go lower anytime the concern is drawing more power than the circuit can handle so less is (most) always okay. That said a 20 amp fits 10 and 15 as well and there is no disadvantage in having a 20 capable amp plug (prefer them). |
