I am selling a Scott 310D broadcast standard mono tuner from 1961 or so. This was the best tuner in Scott's tube line until the advent of the 310E which was a stereo tuner and the cost no object 4310. This 50 year old tuner looks very nice for its age. The chassis is clean with excellent writing. The tubes are original. The face looks very nice too, with a minimum of fingernail marks. The corners are nice and sharp. The dial has a crack and the metal cap/cover has some tarnnishing. I ran this up on a variac for several hours. I cleaned the controls and cleaned the tube pins. Reception is good. The tuning needle moves freely. I'm not a tuner expert, so I don't know whether this needs an alignment tuneup.
Please note, the tuner didn't come with feet so I added some stick on bumpers to the bottom. This would look nice in a cabinet. Unfortunately, I do not have one.
