It uses the same DAC (PCM 1732 24 bit/96 kHz), decodes HDCD recordings but only is without the headphone output. No pre-amp is needed as this has internal volume control with the remote. This unit has been taken several levels higher with $1,000 in modifications by Reference Audio Modifications(R.A.M.). It has the Superclock 3 and power supply upgrade with several diode changes and a host of cap changes(Receipt will be included). Also, it will have an Amperex PQ(Premium Quality) 6922 tube installed inside the unit output for even better sound than a stock tube. Unit also includes the remote control, Herbies Tenderfoot cups with Gabon Ebony balls(3) for the stock feet which were misplaced. I will also throw in a set of 1 meter Silent Audio Venus RCA interconnects(Similar to Anti-cables). It will ship double boxed in the factory boxes. Unit is in very good condition and works perfectly.
