A fabulous sounding piece. Hand crafted in France, and beautifully built, In vary good overall condition. Eight of ten since I am second owner. 70 watts of class A sound, per channel. One balanced imput, no phono. Made with special transformers, just for YBA, costing six times of more common torodials. YBA also uses their own stepped volume controls. I have had many brands of integrated amps in my system over the last 7 years. I chose to keep this one, since it is so balanced, meaning it does everything so well. So what separates this from so many excellent amps today.? First you here just the music.There tends to be more silence between the musical notes. This gives a much more realistic musical presentation. The musicians seem more real and present because of this. Once experienced, you will not want to go back. This amp also excels in great sound stage width and depth, both forward and back.This also increases the illusion that the musicians are right there playing just for you. Last of all there is a delicacy to vocals that compares to the set type of tube amp, that solid state usually misses. Do not get me wrong today you can get much more quality sound for your money than ever before. In a b comparisons however, it only shows you how special this unit is. I am selling, since I am liquidating my full system. Since I do not listen as much as before and had loss of job, it seems to make sense.
