McIntosh MX-119 HT processor and preamp. I'm the 2nd owner and have had it for a little over a year. I'm selling because I changed my speakers and I don't think they pair well with the McIntosh. I'm rating this 8/10 using Audiogon's criteria. There are a couple of small marks on the top of the unit. The face plate and knobs are all mint. The unit itself functions perfectly. This doesn't have the TM1 tuner module. The original owner uploaded the current firmware.
This is a solid HT piece even without HDMI. I ran HDMI from my blu-ray to the TV, and an optical cable from the TV to the MX-119 with great results. This also has an excellent phono section, capable of both MM & MC. If you're looking for an economical way to break into McIntosh, this may be a good place to start.
The original box wasn't in good condition so I discarded it. I do have the original remote, power cord, and owner's manual. I would prefer local pickup. If you're in Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana, and want to meet halfway I can make that work. If you need it shipped, let's talk. We can always get a new double box from McIntosh.
