Aavik U 300 is integrated amplifier considered by many well known editors of Hi End publications as “2017 Best Integrated Amplifier of the year “ and Hi fi + best ever amps . The U 300 is an all in one Tour De Force of Danish design from the mind of Michael Borreson the designer of Aavik as well as Raidho speakers and Ansuz cables and accessories.The devise is simply a one box solution to ultimate musical reproduction. It plays with any load including power hungry Magnaplanars. It is simply an astonishing design capable of providing dramatic power swings within the dynamic range of an amplifier while maintaining the beauty of lower octaves .It is a chameleon of many sorts . This is the Vikings answer to a one box state of the art music player . It is that good and at this price with full manufacturers warranty is a bargain to booth. Alan Sircom of Hi Fi magazine in his review says it beautifully  ' Cut to the chase , this amp sounds absolutely bloody fantastic” . I don’t think it can be said any better . Any input you choose will sound damn near as good as multi kilo buck separates from other super high end manufacturers .We know this since we sell these and many other brands and are still shaking our heads as to how they were able to make a class D amp sound this bloody fantastic?? The look is truly understated Danish elegance. Form follows function.You simply use one knob if you can call it that to control the aptly named Unity 300. The amp is also supplied with a black ABS flight case as well,. The heatsinks are elegant and will remind you of D’Agostino design products although I am not sure which came first. The unit sounds great out of the case but gets better and better after 300 to 400 hours . The noise floor is “ Right down the car park below the sub basement “ as Sircom states. pitch black backgrounds and gobs of reserved power while all of this creates very little heat . If you love super high end components but space is the issue then this is the answer to all your problems. As it was said in ‘The Lord of The Rings ‘ , one ring to rule them all , Aavik will give you state of the art Amplification , Pre Amplification , DAC and Phono capabilities that only super expensive separate components can give . All of this glory is an elegant 17” x 14” x 5 . The amplification is designed using careful grounding design and it uses passive components with high performance class D module to get surprisingly high amount of on tap torque and delivers 300 W into eight ohms but what is rare is that it doubles this amount into 600W into four ohms!!  Now this is a no brainer in Class A designs but rare in Class D .This baby will  quench your high end thirst at $30,000 but at our asking price of $15,750.00 with 3 years warranty it is simply a bargain . The amp has gone to Denmark for a full service as we do with all of our demo or trade in units and you are simply getting a brand new U 300 .. This includes shipping and PayPal fees as well/. We have A/B this vs $20,000 transport /dac and the AAvik DAC is more musical and dynamic.The phono stage is also a great analogue lovers dream .You can use MM or MC and the gain setting brings musicality even to the most demanding low output coil cartridges without the need for any step up transformers (SUT) .
