Adcom made a series of quality power amplifiers culminating with the Nelson Pass designed 555. The GFA-2 model provides 100 watts of high current power using dual power supplies to keep one channel from affecting the other. Paired heat-sinks are contained inside the cabinet for a cleaner look. The faceplate features a brushed aluminum black finish, rack mounts with handles, a large rocker switch, original graphics, LEDs for power/protection/peak. User manual copy is included. Unit is fully operational with marks from normal use and some missing cover screws. This is a very nice sounding solid state amp designed and manufactured in the USA. Trades for CD, iPod, integrated amp etc. will be considered.

| Is this unit 4 ohm stable, for use with magnepans for instance? A sensing circuit on the Adcom GFA-2 limits loads below 2 ohms. Reactive loads such as electrostatic transducers at 4 ohms are fully compatible. |
