For your consideration is my incredibly clean and well documented Adcom GFA-555 mkII, built in Japan in 1994.
I purchased this amplifier from the original owner, who purchased it locally in 1995. Included in the sale are the original box, manual, spare fuses, and original purchase receipt.
This amplifier was also built with a detachable power cord - a rarity amongst all 555's.
The original owner used a pair of these to bi-amp a pair of Infinity sm155's - normal impedances, plenty of power in reserve.
With this amp I have driven a pair of Magnepan SMGa's, and with great success.
There are no mechanical issues, nor any large cosmetic blemishes. As shown by the photographs, only small marks typical of a well cared for piece of this vintage are present - The most noticeable of which being a 4mm "squiggle" on the top left corner.
I'm rating this GFA-555 mkII as a 7/10 because Audiogon states that an 8/10 needs a perfect front, and "A perfect front face plate (which) includes the front top edge."

NO FEES for PayPal + I will double-box the original box to ensure the box remains intact.
