For sale is my Anthem 225 integrated with two SR blue fuses installed (large slow blow 15a at $150 ea). The stock fuses will also be shipped in the box. The blue fuses are worth the cost of admission.
I’m the original owner and bought it from a dealer in March of this year. Out of all of the integrated amps I’ve had I like this one a lot. The Blue fuses were added last month to raise the bar even higher.
Like most around here, I cannot leave well enough alone. So I decided to give tube amplification a try.
The unit has been in my dedicated room with no kids or smoking. The amp is as new condition and built like a tank. The main capacitors are huge, heat sinks are big enough that it runs barely warm to the touch, and the case is all metal (heavy steel); 42.6 lbs.
It does not have an inboard DAC, which I consider a positive since compression technology changes daily. But I also recognize that not having a DAC maybe a negative to some. So I’m going to include my TEAC UD-301 (399.99 msrp) for free. You just pay $25 more for shipping than the amp shipping cost and it’s yours. I don’t use it as I’m only running vinyl now. If you don’t want it just pay the actual charges for shipping when you pay.
I’ll take care of the PayPal fees, buyer pays shipping.
