For sale is a rare, limited production, (under 12) 200/200, pure Class A amplifier.
This amp was produced to drive speakers that were difficult to drive and
required plenty of power and stable below 2 ohm loads. I've had this amp driving
Martin Logan CLS' electrostatic speakers, which present a very demanding and difficult
load for most amplifiers.
I am the original owner. The amp is in excellent condition, without any issues.
This behemoth weighs in at 110 pounds and is 23" deep. I am selling it to
down size my system. This amp was $4000. when new. It would cost $20k
to build today.

Questions for the seller
How old is amp?
I bought the amp in the early 80's, at the time I ran it on the infinity Servostatic 1A electrostatic, then I bought the Martin Logan CLS 1's, which I still have. This amp just does not care what I throw at it, it just coasts a long. Never had one problem or issue with it. Probably would not sell it if I was not down sizing. Also have 2 other Bedini amps which I won't be selling.
How hot does this amp get and does it have any fans in it (on the underside)? Given its age, is there any noise (either from the amp itself (eg transformer buzz) or through speakers (eg hiss, hum etc)? Has this amp been serviced at any time?
It doesn't get as hot as my Bedini 25/25, but it has quiet fan on the bottom of the amp. Amp is quiet. Not serviced since John Bedini looked at it, but have never had a reason to do so.
Sir: How can you safely ship this to Idaho ?? My zip is 83501 Will Vincent
I would have to take it to a professional shipper and see what he wants to ship and insure it.
