BAT VK-220 (Black, with BAT-Pak)

This ad is for a BAT VK-220 power amplifier in Black with the optional BAT-Pak installed. This amp is in outstanding condition! I am the original owner, and it was shipped to me directly from the factory. This amp is complete, includes the original box, packaging, power cord, manual and protective plastic sleeve.

The VK-220 is a very good solid-state, fully-balanced power amp with gobs of power (125Wpc@8Ω, 250@4Ω ), capable of driving virtually any speaker. Adding the factory-installed BAT-Pak increases the VK-200's energy reserves by a whopping 500%, turning it into a high-current monster. Check out the internal shot where you can see the impressive capacitor bank on the right and the gigantic toroidal transformer on the left. With a massive foundation of rock-solid bass, unflappable power delivery and enormous control over virtually any load. In essence, with the BAT-Pak, this amplifier punches way above its weight class.
At the purchase price, I will throw in a pair of BAT XLR Input Adapters which allow this amp to be used with unbalanced (RCA) components. Featuring Neutrik XLRs, Vampire RCAs, custom Teflon isolation bushings and the same signal wire used in all BAT preamps, these are hand-built to BAT's exceedingly high tolerances. 
Due to size and weight, the amp can't be double boxed. That being said, the original factory box and packaging is incredibly robust and both are in very good condition.
