Bluenote Italy Steroid-1 MkII integrated amp with remote NEW - open box

Here is an Italian GEM, the Bluenote Steroid-1 integrated Amp.
This is the MkII version with Optional motorized volume control and metal remote.
This is NEW OLD STOCK, just opened to take pictures. Will test prior to shipping, otherwise amp has ZERO HOURS.

The Steroid 1 mkII is a Stereo Integrated Amplifier with 5+1 inputs and 30 watt per channel into 8 Ohms (50W into 4 Ohms). The front panel is made of Polished black Acrylic. This amp uses a multi-transformer configuration (idea borrowed from the Demidoff), achieving tube-amp sound with solid state design. The Steroid 1 mkII sound is open, natural and realistic quite like very expensive tube amps. It has just no competitors at its price point. The Steroid 1 mkII chassis is completely made of Steel to minimize electromagnetic fields RFI and EMI. Electronically all the active parts of the circuit are powered by different dedicated transformers. The Volume remote-control (optional), the self-check relays and even the ON led are separately powered by a dedicated transformer not to affect the audio signal path. The Steroid 1 mkII has no capacitors in the audio signal and to prevent blowing. There are 4 passive thermal switches in the power supply to protect the amplifier, should it endure fluctuating or incompatible incoming voltage conditions. Due to its design, it's free of inductive or resistive problems, making it compatible with a much wider variety of interconnects and speaker cables.
