Original owner with diligent care of my favorite amp. Had it paired with my Magnepan 1.5s as it is the same amp Magnepan uses to test their speakers. Kept warm constantly. Transferable warranty attached and good through 1-24-2023. Beats most amps 3X more expensive. Selling the Magnepans as well.
"A Real Value," Says Stereophile
"The Bryston 14B-ST amplifier is a beefy, rugged, reliable amplifier whose 20-year warranty and [$9,550] price make it a real value," notes Larry Greenhill in the November, 2002 issue Stereophile magazine. "Its power and headroom are competitive with such great amplifiers as the $14,995, 600 Wpc Electrocompaniet Nemo."
"So often during my time with the Bryston 14BSST2 I wanted to call up an audio buddy and blurt out a 'wow, you should hear this!'" raves a December 2015 review at Australia's StereoNet.au. "It made me stop and actually listen to the music with amazement, because it just sounded so right, so dynamic and life-like. Low powered amps by comparison are boring and lifeless and they don’t captivate the attention and imagination in the same manner."
When it comes to the best possible sonic performance, you can't beat the monoblock approach of dedicating a separate amplifier to each channel of your system. Thanks to the 14B's true dual mono modular design, it has the power to drive, with breathtaking ease and clarity, speakers which have been considered 'impossible' loads in the past.
"The Finest Amplifier I've Heard to Date"
"An unconditional recommendation, for the finest amplifier I've heard to date," raves David Allcock in England's Hi-Fi News magazine. "Seriously investigate what the Bryston 14B-ST can deliver in reliability, power and astonishing sound quality."
