Bryston 8B-ST 4 , 3 or 2 channel Audiophile Amplifier

This listing is for a very nice Bryston 8B-ST amplfier. This amplifier is very versatile and can be used as a 4 channel, 3 channel or 2 channel amplifier when bridged all configurable via switches on the back of the amplifier.

The power ratings are as follows 4 channel mode 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms 200 w.p.c. into 4 ohms 3 channel mode 400 watts x1 and 120 watts x2 2 channel bridged mode 400 watts per channel into 8 ohms It is a favorite among audiophiles that have speakers with dual binding posts for biamping. I purchased this from the original owner, and the original sales receipt is included from 1996. You will see that he also bought some other pieces including the Pre-amp which i will also have available soon. Like all Bryston amplifiers, this amplifier sounds fantastic! I ran this on a pair of Acoustic Zen Adagio speakers for a full week and it performed flawlessly. Cosmetically it looks very nice, and I'm rating it a 7 per the Audiogon scale because it does have some minor scratches and scuffs. There are none that I would call significant. This amplifier is also very versatile when it comes to hooking it up. It accepts RCA, balanced XLR and Balanced TRS 1/4" type inputs.

Included will be a power cord ,original owners manual and original sales receipt. The owners manual does have some writing on the back where the owner wrote some various notes. I do not have the original box, but I have shipped many pieces of heavy audio gear, and It will be very securely packaged for safe arrival to the new owner. I prefer paypal for my protection and yours, but i will consider other forms of payment. Feel free to ask.
