Cambridge Audio 851W stereo power amp in silver, rated at 200W/Ch into 8 ohms. I am the original owner of this amp which I purchased NEW (not Refurbished!!) from an authorized Cambridge dealer in January 2015. Cambridge’s proprietary class XD design allows pure class A operation at lower power with undistorted switching at transition. This amp is in pristine condition without any scratches or other marks being visible during my close inspection.
It functions perfectly. The huge toroidal transformer helps provide great bass impact and drive. Please refer to the operations manual available on-line from Cambridge for details on its design features. A pair of these amps can be run in bi-amp mode or bridged mono operation at 500W/Ch.
Unit will ship double-boxed in its original factory packing. Shipping weight is about 50 pounds. The original C19 power cord and a copy of the manual will be included in the sale.
