Classe DR-6 preamplifier, including a truly outstanding moving coil /
moving magnet phono stage, in very good condition. The Classe DR-6 comes with an external power
supply which greatly reduces the crosstalk, hum and other noise that often
plague single-box preamplifiers. Lovingly
played in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
The front panel is cosmetically pristine and the unit functions
perfectly. It includes both single-ended
and balanced inputs and outputs. It is a
remarkably robust and solid component. Renowned
for its sonics, the DR-6 is widely considered to be designer David Reich’s
masterpiece and one of the finest preamplifiers ever made by Classe. This unit sports a brushed aluminum (silver) front
panel; additionally, an anodized (black) front panel and anodized knobs are
also included. I’ve moved on to a
DIY-based stereo, which is the only reason this fantastic preamp is up for
sale.
