Crane Song Avocet Studio Controller (preamp)

Crane Song 'Avocet' Class A Studio environment audio controller.  It's like a listening system preamp on steroids.  This is a Pro quality controller with many extra features sought by a professional user, not to mention great audio.

There are three audio inputs (XLR or adapted to RCA), and three digital inputs to build-in D/A converters.  Either RCA S/PDIF or AES inputs (2 or 3 wire) can be used.  There are no tone controls (typical of Pro gear).  There are three sets of  XLR outputs (system 1, system2 and #3 is for a subwoofer)

The remote is wired with a 30 foot cable.  The audio chassis need not be visible to use, and can be rack mounted. 

That's a cat's hair next to the remote control OUT 3 button, not a scratch.

There are headphone outputs, input for talk back mic and lots of flexibility in the controls (see remote picture)

Other than the face and back of the electronics, the construction is solid but not 'shiny'.  It's not supposed to be.
