Crown Audio XLS-1502 Power Amplifier

This classified is for a Crown XLS-1502 2-channel power amplifier. The XLS series employs Crown's Drive Core 2 series technology, producing tremendous power from a small, light amplifier. In addition to great, clean power, this amplifier features a LCD display, which displays the status of the many DSP features, such as bridge mono operations, high/low pass filters and sensitivity. This amplifier is stereo rated at 300 watts/channel into 8 ohms; 525 WPC/4 ohms and 775WPC/2 ohms. The bridge mono ratings are 1,050WPC/8 ohms and 1,550 WPC/4 ohms. Input options are XLR and RCA, while outputs are binding posts (bare wire and bananas only) and Speakon terminals. The cooling fan is so quiet that it does not intrude on the music.
This amp puts out very clean and clear power. I used it to power a pair of Tekton Lore 2.0's and ATC SCM12's and it sounded great. I have fallen for low power SET amplification and am reconfiguring my system, making this amp available. I purchased it from Sweetwater Sound less than one year ago. It is in excellent condition.
