For your consideration, is a pair of DIY GainClone monoblock amplifiers. I have used Audio Sector's PCB, the finest on the market, and the best possible parts.. to the max = money no object.  They are based on LM3875  56W / Channel chips with an ultra short signal path.

  • BlackGate amplifier section capacitors
  • Mondorf power supply capacitors
  • Caddock precision metal film resistors
  • Over-sized Hammond tororidal transformers (250W/ch)
  • Furutech power sockets
  • Silver switches
  • Aviation grade silver Teflon wiring
  • WBT silver solder used througout
  • Cardas silver binding posts and RCA sockets
  • Pure copper isolation for transformer, power supply, and amplifier section
I have demoed these amps at our audiophile society meeting and everybody there, agreed that they blew away every other amp we compared them to... Do your research on GainClone amplifiers, and see what these are capable of. If you never heard one, prepare to be blown away :-) I dare you to compare these amplifiers to any power amp up to $5K.
I bought these aluminum cases on eBay, and they came with the Cello logo printed, so my inner nerd had to get a matching rear plates using the same name. These are DIY, and not Cello amps...  Cello has been out of business for many years, but they do look cool this way. :-)
The amps were built as mirror images, and although the photos are of the inside, they do come with the case original cover, and 3 heavy duty conical isolation footers.
They are broken in, but otherwise new.
NOTE: To keep the audio signal as short as possible, these amps have no coupling caps, so make sure your pre-amp has no DC output!  High quality preamps should not have any DC output, but if you want, I can add any coupling capacitors of your choice.

I am asking for the price of the parts only, approximately $1,100 for both.   Many hours of work went into making these fine pieces of audio bliss, but I had fun building them and now it is time for someone else to enjoy listening to them.
