Emotiva / SVS UPA-2 XDA-1 MBS-02 never used, as new!

Emotiva UPA-200 2-channel amplifier, Emotiva XDA-1 DAC, and SVS MBS-02 speakers:  I assembled this system for my parents in Aug. 2012, as a killer performance / price ratio setup, but they never opened or set it up.  They just finally opened it to inspect condition and take pictures and then boxed them back up.  The Emotiva amp and DAC still have three months of the 5-year warranty remaining, so the buyer will be covered if there is any unforeseen manufacturer's defect.   

Price is $850 for all three items, and I will throw in a set of Monoprice interconnects and digital cables.  Will consider selling each item individually (UPA-200: $350, XDA-01: $225, MBS-02: $375).  Buyer pays FedEx Ground shipping.

A few of my own observations about the gear (I'm an audio engineer and audiophile - yes, you can be both ;-)):

The UPA-200 is one of Emotiva's cleanest sounding GEN1 amps, with a robust power supply and open, dynamic sound.

The XDA-1 is a fully differential DAC with remote and digital preamp functionality.  The sound is transparent, and the unit is very well built with a great remote control.

The MBS-02 is one of my favorite SVS speakers ever made, and I've owned or heard them all.  Despite the more expensive Scanspeak AirCirc tweeter in the MBS-01, the MBS-02 is better executed design with a cleaner midrange, and a better balanced tonality and directivity than the MBS-01.  The high end is extended and airy, yet very smooth and non-fatiguing, and the bass is impactful for the size of speaker and digs deeper than the MBS-01.
