The First Watt F2J is one unique amplifier - a single-stage, zero-feedback, single-ended transistor amp. Considered a current-source amp because of its high (15 ohm) output impedance, it is designed for driving wideband drivers directly (no crossover). As a matter of fact it's the single best amp I have found for that purpose. (Better than every DHSET amp I've tried, including custom-made amps with silver output transformers.) Of course, better is relative in this hobby, but that's my take.
This one was built by Nelson and came right to me just a couple months ago. It has 34 months left on the 36-month warranty.
