Gently used GamuT D3 balanced, line stage preamp. Internally, the same as the current GamuT D3i ($8,200), but with more basic cosmetics it retailed for $5,999. Reviews online. Balanced and singled ended inputs and outputs. Has home theater bypass making it an easy integration with a home theater setup. GamuT is coming out with a retrofittable phono stage later this year. Clean, sweet with no solid state glare, coupled with tight bass and extended high frequency performance. Original box, remote and a copy of the owner’s manual. Remote functions perfectly, but the backside is scratched, no impact on its performance. No damage to unit. In very good condition and operated flawlessly. Preamp is 8, remote control maybe a 6. Pains me to sell this as I really enjoyed it, was a welcome addition to my system, but family demands have me switching to a simple home theater preamp. More pics available upon request. Added a picture of the volume pot with the tape removed - no marks remain. $1,750 or best offer, plus shipping and paypal fees. CONUS only. No trades, thank you. | I am curious about the black mark on one of the knobs. I don't see this in GamuT photos. Did you add it? And, if so, can it be easily removed? Sorry for the delay in replying. I was out sick and my password was at work.
The "black mark" was electrician tape, which has been removed without residue. The previous owner applied it to make volume level easier to discern. I can update the picture tonight if you would like to see what the knob looks like now. |
