Offered is a pair of unique Halcro/Soundsmith Hybrid DM68 amplifiers. These are unique because the digital supply and pure analog MOSFET amplifier is designed and personally built by Peter Ledermann of The Soundsmith. The front end (input section) is still a Halcro design. The power amplifier sections are now the exact circuitry of Soundsmith’s award winning HE-150 Zero-Feedback MOSFET design by Peter Ledermann. The MOSFET amps are a higher power version of his HE-150 MOSFET amplifier design with stunning sonics. Huge dimensionality, ultra-low distortion and damping factor of well over 200 make the bass astounding – tight and clean. The Soundsmith HE-150 sells for $43,000, therefore making these amplifiers an extremely good value if you are in the market for high end designs at a bargain price. The amps are supplied with their original airworthy/truck shipping containers.
