These things really can't be described. Rated higher than the world-class Emia and Coincident Statement line stages by Arthur Salvator, I can report that it is equal in performance, though different from, my $9500 Tom Evans Vibe/Pulse 2 combo.

The problem for me is that gain is 0. I need some gain.

But if you don't - most systems won't - I know of nothing that will match its performance for anything close to the price.

I rated it 8/10 only for the semi-DIY nature of the piece. This is just how he makes them. It's not a piece of audio jewelry.
