Up for sale is a beautiful McIntosh MA7900 integrated amplifier. This amp is in great condition, easily deserving the 9/10 rating. It has an output of 200 watts per channel, regardless of how difficult the speaker load is thanks to the McIntosh Autoformer. It also features their Power Guard circuitry which prevents clipping if you happen to get carried away, which you probably will! Some other great features are independent moving coil and moving magnet phono stages, and a on-board DAC which can decode your hi-rez digital music up to 32 bits and 192kHz. Also included is a beefed-up headphone amplifier that has enough gain and power to drive just about anything on the market, including some of the harder to drive planar magnetic models.
This amp includes the original owner's manual, heavy duty IEC power cord, and remote control. I have the serial number matching outer carton and inner packing pieces, but am missing the inner box. I can easily custom make a great inner box here at the shop, so no worries - it will come packed very securely.
I'll only ship this amp via UPS to the lower 48 - please don't ask if I'll ship out of the US. If you want the amp and you're outside the US, you'll have to make arrangements with a US-based freight forwarder. And of course, you're always welcome to come by the shop here in Ann Arbor and pick it up in person.
Everything I offer for sale through Audiogon and eBay is guaranteed to arrive in proper working condition, but none of the equipment includes any kind of warranty, and all sales are final. If you have any questions about a component, or what is included with it, please ask. If the ad doesn’t mention a remote or manual being included, it probably isn’t!
Most of the equipment I sell on Audiogon and eBay is used – I take a lot of effort to give you accurate descriptions and provide good photos. Although most of the gear I sell has been well cared for, it probably didn’t spend its life in a vacuum. If you are likely to get bent out of shape by a smudge here or a nick there, please call or email me so we can give you detailed information before you buy.
I accept Paypal, or you are welcome to send a money order or cashiers check to me at:
