One of the finest examples of a made in the USA, solid state amplifier, statement product. Built in 1999 and in near mint condition still. 55 lbs of solid aluminum and circuitry.
The handles were designed to dissipate heat. The lid is 3/4 inch thick. The only very small nicks are on the bottom and not visible. The rest is almost perfect with a stunning laser cutting done over the entire gold and silver surface. The bottom plate is nicer than many 10K products Ive looked at. Overall, too clean to be an 8/10. Age hasn't hurt this amp anymore than it has the 60 year old mac 240's I sold. Excellent designs both.
150 watts into 8 ohms. 275 into 4. Beautifully laid out circuit boards inside with some of the sturdiest pins and posts on the back you've ever seen.
Silver audiophile fuse installed, and a 5 ft. Shunyata power cord included, along with a complete comprehensive manual.
The unit is quiet, and does everything right as far as performance goes. I regret having to sell this particular piece because it is so attractive and well made with a more petite size than so much of the new stuff. (17 1/2" w x 11 3/4" D x 6" H). Have you been in front of an Ayon amp? Imposing to most racks.
Moving and having to sell all my separates. Most are gone. This is the last and best. Low Balls will be ignored. I'm not desperate. The right person with a budget under 4K, will
recognize it for the classic it is, and we'll make a good deal.
Original box and soft foam packing will travel well.
I will split PP and usps shipping. Thanks for looking.
