One of the finest examples of a made in the USA, solid state statement product. Built in 1999 and in near mint condition still. 55 lbs of solid aluminum and circuitry.
The handles were designed to dissipate heat. The lid is 3/4 inch thick. The only very small nicks are on the bottom and not visible. The rest is almost perfect with a stunning laser cutting done over the entire gold and silver surface.
150 watts into 8 ohms. 275 into 4. Beautifully laid out circuit boards inside with some of the sturdiest pins and posts on the back you've ever seen. Rare to find in this condition and a bona fide collector's amp.
Silver audiophile fuse installed, and a 5 ft. Shunyata power cord included, along with a complete comprehensive manual.
It is very quiet and neutral with pure dynamics at both extremes. You can find many reviews out there. The more petite overall size is a blessing in most cases. Fits well into racks and other tight spaces. (17 1/2" w x 11 3/4" D x 6" H). Original box and soft foam packing will travel well.
Firm on this latest price. Usps is the lowest priced shipping out of this town. I split paypal as it benefits both sides. Add 1 3/4%, or save us both some money, and send as a gift through PP, instead of audiogon. I doubt they will miss the fee. I would also drop the purchase price another $50.
