For sale is an awesome Krell FPB-400cx Class-A stereo amplifier. I list as an 8/10 only due to age. Face plate is clean, few very small scratches around heat sinks. Nothing cosmetically obvious from a foot or two away. Performance is astounding. This is an X-series, that had extended dynamic range over its similar predecessor. Balanced XLR, as well as Krell Cast inputs. I've had this one powering a set of Apogees for months with a Krell KCT on the front end, and it drove them beautifully with no problems. From pet/smoke free home, and recently checked out by a competent electrical engineer, it needed nothing. Ready for years of trouble free listening pleasure. I'd have most likely kept this one forever, but had the chance to move up to the FPB-700cx, so this 400cx needs a new home. The only difference I can tell sonically between the two is the increased headroom the 700 provides. This is one great sounding Krell. Buyer to cover shipping costs.
