Krell HTS 7.1 Fantastic for 2 channel!

While this is an old processor, where this little gem, in my opinion, shines, is in the 2 channel performance, most notably in 2.1 channel. Because of the flexibility built into the processor, it offers a fantastic platform to handle 2 channels, either in 'preamp' or direct mode, or 'stereo' mode, which utilizes the Krell internal DAC, which is fantastic.    
Also to note is the fact that it has the .1 subwoofer output, which can be controlled using the gain control off the remote. This was a feature that i used a lot, since i have monitor speakers paired with a sub, making subwoofer/low frequency gain control a breeze with the remote.   
Preamp mode sounds awesome, since it utilizes your external DAC of choice, but are still able to add a subwoofer, with the option to control the subwoofer trim levels.
Stereo mode sounds fantastic, which uses the internal DAC.    
The price for a fantastic 2 or 2.1 channel preamp cannot be beat, especially for something of this caliber.    
Unit is in fantastic condition, save for a nick on one of the corners (pictured). Unfortunately I dont have the original box, but do have the original owner's manual and remote. It will be boxed correctly to make the journey to the new owner.
