Krell kav-400xi

For sale (will consider trade, more below), black Krell KAV-400xi integrated amplifier. All manuals, box and remote included. Rated 8.5/10 condition wise, simply because there is a small dog's bite mark on the card remote control. The unit could probably use a light blowdown with a can of compressed air, but I took pictures as is. Never been in a smoking environment and never been in a high-dust environment. There are no scratches, dings or scuffs on the unit other than the previously mentioned mark on the remote. 100 hours or less of use in more than 10 years. 
  
There's plenty of info out there on this model and I believe it's the last Krell integrated to be both designed and built in the U.S. before they switched manufacturing to China around 2007. Sounds great, never had any issues. 


I will throw in a pair of Audioquest speaker cables (7ft. probably worth $200) with AQ connectors and a few blister packs of batteries for the remote control.  Comes with original box and foam packing material, but the box has been taped over a bunch of times by the TSA because I brought it with me on a plane during a move -  didn't want to ship it. :-) 
  
The pricing is a reflection of Audiogon fees and the probable need to double box it when shipping. Local pickup in Austin, TX is preferred.  

I am really not sure why Audiogon keeps deleting this, but I will definitely consider trade for a good used tube integrated amplifier from Musical Paradise (MP-501), Peachtree or equivalent. PM me and we can discuss if you're wanting to do something like that.
