Krell KSA-250 2 Channel Power Amp. GREAT Condition!

Up for sale is a Krell KSA-250 2 Channel Power Amp.

This is a legendary beast of an amp. It will drive the most difficult load with ease. It is a 250 W/channel into 8 ohms Class A power amp that delivers 500 W/channel into 4 ohms and 2,000 W / channel into 1 ohm. Very few amps will deliver such power! The frequency range is 0Hz – 250kHz, far outside the hearing range of humans, so every audible note will be played without putting the amp to its limits.
It weighs a healthy 140 lbs, just the 4.5kVA transformer weighs 85 lbs!

The KSA-250 has Balanced (XLR) and Unbalanced (RCA) inputs and 4 sets of speaker outputs to make bi-wiring easier.

It looks close to perfect. Of course it does have a few very tiny marks here and there, but they are barely visible.

Now the sound... In one word AMAZING!
At high and low volume it sounds better than most amps I have heard. Very natural sounding with the legendary Krell bass. I never knew that the speakers I tested the amp with could go that low.

Like all classic Krell amps, there is a slight hum that you will hear when you put your ears against the speakers. I could not hear it from my listening position 8-10 feet away.
I will add an Ebtech HumX that made the amp even more quiet.

The KSA-250 will be shipped in its original double box with the manual and a power cord.
