This is an integrated amplifier that does not appear for sale on the used market very often. The cosmetic and operational condition are both excellent. I replaced a very-highly-regarded ARC Vsi 75 with it, and it is unmistakably a better-sounding amplifier. It seems, however, that I am a tube guy. The Lavardin IT is considered by many to be one of the best integrated amplifiers in the world, regardless of price. As Mark Leroy states, in HiFi News, "...one audition with your favourite track will instantly reveal to you that the Lavardin IT is far more than just the sum of its parts… it’s an enigma, an amplifier that produces music that sounds so ‘right’ that you just know that all other amplifiers must be wrong."

| I'm curious to know how many owners this amp has had and if this is the updated version with the Tape out, i.e. how old is it. Thanks for your time. Dave This amplifier has the tape out. It has had two owners. I bought it as a store demo from Codell Audio in Montreal and used it in my system for about 5 months. |
