This is a classic Mark Levinson stereo preamplifier manufactuered when the company was still owned by Mark, back in the 1980's. It achieved a good sonic review from Stereophile's Gordon Holt, even though he found its high price tag objectionable. I have used this preamplifier for years in my reviewing for Stereophile, and have found few pre-amplifiers that have a better phono stage. In fact, that is why I am selling it now, as I have recently reviewed the Mark Levinson No.526 and found it better, but at even higher price.

The preamplifier comes with the moving magent L1 Phono plug-in modules and the moving coil L3 phono plug-in modules. I am also supplying 4 camac-to-rca interconnects.
