Linn Klimax 500 Solo Monoblock Amplifiers

Up for sale is a pair of Linn Klimax 500 Solo power amplifiers that were recently taken in on trade. Without a doubt these are the best amplifiers that Linn ever made and that’s evidenced by the fact that they have been in continuous production since the late 1990s. Since their introduction the Klimax Solos have received universal critical acclaim and are considered to be one of the finest amplifiers ever produced.

Machined from a solid block of aluminum the Climax 500 Solo has an output of 500W in a package that’s svelte enough to integrate into any environment. Balanced and single-ended inputs are available and this pair is configured with binding posts on the outputs.

Both amps are in very good cosmetic condition with a few minor cosmetic marks. The most noteworthy are some nicks on the top front edge of one of the cases. There are some slight scuffs on the tops of both amps, but none of these marks are noticeable from more than a couple of feet away. I’ve taken great care to ensure that the photos accurately reflect the cosmetic condition of both amps.

This pair is from the mid 2000s and are approximately 11 years old. They’ve been in continuous use up until today and have always performed flawlessly.

This pair will ship in two boxes and each is 22 x 19 x 11 and weighs 28lbs.

We ship via FedEx and UPS for deliveries within the United States. Please let us know if you have a preference. For international shipments we prefer to ship via FedEx. Large and heavy items are shipped via truck or air freight.

Items delivered within the State of Arizona are subject to 8.6% sales tax.

Local customers picking up items in-store are free to pay via cash, PayPal, cashier’s check, bank wire or any major credit card.

For items under $7500 that are shipped within the United States we accept payment via PayPal or bank wire. Transactions completed via PayPal must ship to your confirmed address.

For items over $7500 and all items (regardless of price) shipped to an international address we require payment via bank wire.
