Linn Klimax 500 Solo Mono Amps (2)

Here we have a beautiful pair of Linn Klimax 500 Solo amps in on trade.  They function perfectly, sound absolutely stunning, and look nearly new.  I can't find any scratches or nics in the finish but I will rate them conservatively because I know somebody will.  These amps are from the 1999 through early 2000's era and they are still sought after today.  They represent the climax (or Klimax) of Linn's research and development for amplifiers at the time.  They retailed for $9500 each and were worth every penny according to multiple professional reviews.  Here is the concluding remarks from one such review in Stereophile 1999:

"I think there's an essential joyousness with which the Klimax goes about its work. It's anxious to please, but never puts a foot wrong while doing so. I could detect no sonic compromises anywhere. The amp's iron control and absolute grip, transparent midbass, full palette of blushing tonal color, extension from DC to ultraviolet, great slam and linearity, openness, sweetness, its inner light and beauty—I just loved it. In fact, I want a pair!"

The entire review is brilliant and describes the Klimax 500 Solo perfectly!  Linn just has a knack for effortless sounding musicality.

Unfortunately we do not have the original boxes for shipping but we will pack these wonderful amps lovingly to ensure they get to you safely.  Included will be newer power cords and an owners manual.
