Linn LK 1 full function preamplifier with box and remote

For sale is one LINN LK 1 preamplifier S/N 103331, solid state design, full function (with MC and MM phono stage, also recording option), original box and remote (no owner's manual). Second owner.

I bought this preamplifier about ten years ago from Audiogon as a spare (backup) unit paying $250 for it. Recently I tried to use it for the first time (since my reference preamplifier is currrently out for service) and I realized that I can't since it has special XLR and 5-pin outputs not compatible with my amplifier's RCA inputs.

The preamplifier powers up (red light) but I cannot test any of its functions, so it is being sold untested, or in non-working status (for repair or parts).

PHYSICAL CONDITION: 8/10 Audiogon rating (no visible scratches, dings, dents), close to NM status overall.

DIMENSIONS: 10"W x 3-1/2"H x 11"D (approximate).

115 volts operation.

FRONT functions: power / memory / rec / mute / mc / mm / tun / aux / TP1 / TP2 / balance / volume.

BACK functions: 2 main AC/DC (in/out) / 2 XLR outputs / 2 XLR inputs AUX-Tuner / 2 - 5-pin inputs-outputs.
