Marantz 240 Power Amplifier--NEEDS REPAIR

I bought this power amplifier a few years ago and when I finally got around to trying it out I carelessly connected it to the wrong pre-amp inputs, and poof...it smoked and would not turn on. So I put it away and forgot about it until a few days ago.

As far as I can tell the amplifier is complete. The top screws are not original but do their job well enough. Its physical condition, in my opinion, and for its vintage age, is approximately fair, or perhaps a bit better. There is a dent in the lower left front corner, which I've straightened out to the best of my ability.

I don't think it would be difficult for a fairly knowledgeable person to troubleshoot the problem. As a matter of fact, I'm guessing someone with experience can figure it out from my description alone. At the very least, this amp should be a good parts unit.
