Up for sale is a professionally restored Marantz 7T preamplifier. This was restored in July 2015 by Absolute Sound Labs in Savage, MN.
Unit is in excellent condition for its age. All the lettering on the front panel is intact. This is a mark below the Tape inputs that can be seen in the pictures.
The case does have marks but being in the wood case, one would not see them. The wood case is a reproduction and not an original. The case is brand new.
The serial number (10098) indicates this was the 98th unit made.

Electronically this item is perfect. All below spec parts were replaced; switches cleaned and is within factory specs.
Notes from the restoration -
‘Disassemble and evaluate. Found dirty controls and switches, distorted right channel and previously mis-wired supply circuit.
Properly wired power PCD. Perform complete restoration. Polycoat panel assemblies. Re-assemble and burn in for 24 hours.’
