These amps are in very good condition. They’ve been kept in a smoke-free and pet-free listening room, and used for about 1/3 of my listening time in the intervening years (mainly summers, when it gets a little warm for tubes). I’ve rated them 8/10 for age, though they are 9/10 cosmetically. There is only one cosmetic issue: tiny 1 - 2 mm abrasions on the bottom of the faceplate of both units, unnoticeable unless you look for it—see pictures. Otherwise they are like new over the remaining 99.9% of the surface area. I’ve treated them like jewelry, and they are in the same shape as I received them. (I’ve risked over-stating the cosmetics, but it’s important to be honest about minor details with gear like this.)

Serial numbers for these amps: 1676, 1668

These are rated to output 125W at 8 ohms, 250W at 4 ohms. They’ll play clean, high volumes better than you’d think and louder than you ought (for the sake of your hearing). They have triggers either via 1/8” mini plugs, or via custom-made ethernet cables (the latter is an option if you use a ML pre-amp).  Single-ended or balanced inputs.

These are beautiful to look at, and equally beautiful to listen to. They’ve driven my Quad 2905s for many years. They produce a wide and deep soundstage, velvet mid-range and airy highs. Bass is high quality down to about 35 Hz on my Quads, which don’t go much below that anyway. I’ve never wanted for a subwoofer when these were in play.

I have the original box, manuals and stock power cords. The original outer box is too told to use, though it’s done a good job of protecting the inner box and the original padding. These will be shipped with new outer boxes custom made by Fed Ex.
