The Mark Levinson No. 502 Media Console is a state-of-the-art AV processor, preamplifier and D/A converter.

The No. 502 comes with a graphical user interface on the front panel of the chassis, so you can monitor what’s on your theater screen remotely. If your electronics are in a separate room (as mine are), this is significant advantage.

Its A/V processor employs two separate power supplies for completely isolating the digital and analog signal paths.

It also includes a state-of-the-art video processor that converts all of the video inputs into a single output and scale them to the optimum resolution for driving the display device.

Operating the No. 502 does not require a technical background. Users merely select and activity (“Watch a Film,” “Listen to Music,” or “Watch TV”) and adjust the volume. Each activity automatically loads a speaker configuration, an audio profile and a video profile. The Nº502 essentially reconfigures itself automatically to provide the desired listening and viewing experience for each activity.

The Nº 502 features a sophisticated design aesthetic and world-class craftsmanship, from its brushed aluminum chassis to its backlit, engraved-glass logo.
