McIntosh 225

Included here is a vintage McIntosh 225 amp. This amp comes from the same collection as the McIntosh integrated amp I offered for sale in March of this year. For those who don't know I'm the selling agent for the owner. The owner was the President of a major Japanese industrial corps. U.S. operations. He has retired and is moving back to Japan where his space in Japan does not allow for large stereo systems. The Mssr. is formally trained as an electrical engineer so he knows how to take good care of his equipment. He is the only owner of this amp and he informs me it is in good working order. Though the tubes are not attached to the amp, as per the photos we have and will include with the sale. Also included are the mounting flanges, a copy of both the owners and maintenance manuals. Do not have the "Octal" output plug with cap.  As the photos show this is not a museum piece, but one with the natural patina that comes with good care and age.  The buyer will pay shipping and insurance cost. The owner says the unit is working and I'll bank on his word. This beauty will arrive working or I'll pay to have it shipped back to me for service at Glen Oaks Service Labs, the local authorized McIntosh service center.
