McIntosh MC2120 Power Amp

This listing is a clean McIntosh MC2120 power amplifier in good working condition and just checked by our service department and guaranteed to work correctly. Includes a Walnut case that is in good overall condition, the mesh top vent shows some staining. The amp is in clean to very clean condition with very minor pitting on the rear chassis. All letters and numbers are intact. We are a Premier McIntosh dealer and our service department is McIntosh certified.

Basically an MC2125 without the power meter.

If an output wave is electrically compared with an input wave and the wave difference becomes 0.5%, a Limit lamp will light up and a Normal lamp will go out. If the wave difference reaches to 1%, the power guarding circuitry operates, it prevents the amplifier from clipping, and the protects the speaker simultaneously.

The output signal of amplifier is supplied to an output-terminal through an output transformer. This transformer is designed match the copy power termination of every impedance, and even if it uses which output-terminal, the maximum output is obtained to all the signalling frequencies.
