Odyssey Kismet/Khartago Mono amps.
The amps are in excellent condition and are approx. 3 1/2 years old with 16 years remaining on the warranty.
These amps compare favorably to Symphonic Line amps which are at the top tier of any solid states amp I have or have had.

The Look !!

The face plates were custom made to the original dimensions.
The face plates were then engraved by the same gentleman who did the engraving for Mark Levinson in their CT. heyday.
The faceplates were then Chrome plated.
This was a tedious and costly project.

The chassis of the amps were custom powder coated by A-1 Chrome.
This was also a costly process and the appearance is far superior to the stock chassis

Anodized Aluminum top cover is stock.

Amps are modestly rated at 150 WPC into 8 ohms and stable into a 2 ohm load.
The amps are class A for the first 10 watts and then the more power-efficient class AB thereafter. Class AB is a push-pull affair implemented with Sanken 2SA1216 and 2SC2922 epitaxial planar power transistor pairs. These ring-emitter devices are noted for their long-term stability and reliability and crank out something like 17 amperes each or 34 amps per pair at 50MHz. Peak current capacity of over 120A .

"Mission-critical parts including those in the power supply as well as the Sanken transistors and output stage capacitors are measured and matched beforehand. Compared to the usual surface-mounted devices and ribbon cables prevalent in digital gear designed for automated assembly, each amp takes around 25 hours of manual labor to complete."

"The black Kismet circuit boards especially thick and approx. 3mm and reportedly bear to stuff and solder. Instead of a few seconds in an assembly robot, each Kismet board takes an entire shift to build. Special Groneberg low-temperature high-silver-content solder is applied to the top and bottom of the dozens of through-board holes. This solder couples especially well with copper leads according to Klaus. "

 "A Canadian Plitron toroidal transformer. 120,000μF bank of storage capacitors including Symphonic Line Reference capacitors insures all the power one should ever need.
The  speaker cable terminals are the mid-level 24-carat gold-plated OFC copper alloy WBT 0763. According to the manufacturer these can handle 200 amperes of continuous output.
RCA input connectors upgraded to Gold plated Furutech.
Furutech IEC Inlet/Fuse Holder installed replacing stock IEC."

Shipped as I received them in original boxes with manual and invoice.
