For trade is this Unicorn in the audio world. Very rarely seen together but designed around each other. I've included links for both products. I'm not interested in any cash deal, and only want Sony R1 speakers or R1, 10 components, Denon S1 components, or TAD R speakers, Yamaha Centennial gear, JBL 67000. So the appeal here is to the collector, whom must have them and knows precious few will be able to say the same.
Please note, I'm not really pressed to move them on unless something I'm after is presented.
Amp has had all of the small caps, relays and large power resistors replaced, as well as a full re-solder and new heat sink grease on all mounted transistors, about 15 hours of work. One speaker has a new mid dome, fitted by Onkyo in Japan. Same material, different look, same sound Q.
The woofers (2) were also sent to Onkyo Japan a few years ago for new urethane surrounds, and a comprehensive rebuild, including new tinsels and spider, I think they also replace the voice coil winding. The cost was 47,500¥ per woofer, plus shipping 2-50 lb woofers to Japan and back.
