Parasound HCA-1000a Power Amplifier

This is a great sounding amplifier. It has awesome bass control and goes very deep. The new version of this amplifier is $700 which makes this a very good value and is essentially the same amplifier. Very linear sound. It does not add or subtract anything from the music. It has very good punch. The feet were replaced with some heavy-duty rubber ones as two of them had broke. All connections have been cleaned with ProGold. I will include a power cord. It's clean inside and out. The difference between the "A" model, which this is, is the power transformer is 50% larger and the main capacitors are 10,000 uF each vs. 6800 uF each of the non-A version. Lot's more power reserve and headroom.

It's rated at 125 WPC into 8 Ohms and 200 WPC into 4 Ohms or 400 Mono into 8 Ohms.

There are several scratches on the top lid. Face has a few very small nicks on the edges. Looks good unless you're looking directly down on it.
